Don't leave your future to chance: prepare strategically
Political asylum in the United States is not won by luck, but by preparation. Many real cases fail not because the person didn't suffer persecution, but because their story had contradictions or they froze under the officer's difficult questions.
With the Eagle Method 🦅, we structure your story coherently, simulate the interview with real questions, and teach you how to respond with confidence and strength, reducing anxiety for the big day.

Questions about political asylum
How long do I have to apply for political asylum?
In the United States, as a general rule, you must file your asylum application (Form I-589) within one year of your last entry into the country. Very limited exceptions exist, making it vital to speak to an attorney as soon as possible.
Can I get a work permit while my asylum is pending?
Yes. You can apply for a work permit (EAD) 150 days after submitting your complete Form I-589 asylum application, and you will be eligible to receive it after 180 days (the asylum clock), provided there are no applicant-caused delays.
